Rain Screen Attachment System

A rainscreen is an exterior wall detail where the wall cladding stands off from the moisture-resistant surface of an air barrier applied to the sheathing to create a capillary break and to allow drainage and evaporation. The rain screen is the siding itself but the term rainscreen implies a system of building. Ideally the rain screen prevents the wall air/moisture barrier on sheathing from getting wet. In some cases a rainscreen wall is called a pressure-equalized rainscreen wall where the ventilation openings are large enough for the air pressure to nearly equalize on both sides of the rain screen.

Wet Seal Attachment System

Wet Seal ACM Panel System is a caulked ACM panel system. The system has a typical overall depth of 1" and a typical caulk joint width of 1/2". The System depth and caulk joint width can vary to suite your eustatic requirements. This system consists of routed panels that are folded into pans and attached to the building facade with angle clips supplied loose. This has proven to be a very successful system on a wide range of ACM Wet Seal applications.

Dry Seal Attachment System

Dry Set System (a system that utilizes male and female extrusions on two sides of the panel legs and within these extrusions is a gasket system that helps keep the water out of the system).

Also the system provides a hard silicone gasket sealed panel that is free to expand and contract thermally and offers contrasting architectural lines.
